After graduating cum laude in 2005 from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, Cynthia Christiani began her 16-year career with the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore City.

Recognizing that we are not the sum of our mistakes, CC decided to devote her career to advocating for those facing prosecution and persecution for their mistakes. As a Public Defender, Ms. Christiani represented thousands of clients facing problems serious enough to get them criminally charged, arrested and brought into court; problems such as DUI/DWIs, assaults, possessing handguns and other weapons, and domestic violence. Despite the heavy caseloads of a Public Defender, CC saw each case as the most important moment in her client’s life and met each client with the respect and compassion they deserved. As the lawyer for your Maryland family, CC will bring that same compassion and dedication to you or your loved one’s case.

In 2021, Cynthia Christiani left the Public Defender’s Office to start her own practice in hopes of serving Maryland families and walking them through their legal struggles. As the lawyer for your Maryland family, CC will bring that same compassion and dedication that she developed through almost two decades of public service to you and/or your loved one’s case.

Cynthia Christiani is admitted to practice in all Maryland state courts.
